Britain’s Princess Beatrice is auctioning off the hat she wore last month to the royal wedding ceremony of Prince William and Kate Middleton.  You may have seen it, but if you didn’t, just imagine a big pretzel or big, tan bow on someone’s forehead.  Can you imagine that?  Well if you couldn't, check out the photos.  Not a good look, right?

Beatrice is the Princess of York and is the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson (the dutchess and good friend to Princess Diana).  While the hat is quite atrocious to look at in and of itself, it defintely took away from Beatrice's suddening looks (sarcasm).  The princess definitely did not inherit any good taste in fashion, make-up or beauty, for that matter. Yikes!

According to CNN.com, the hat is currently being auctioned off on eBay.  There's only six days left and all the proceeds are going to two children’s charities.  At least something good is coming of this damn hat!  As of Sunday, the current bid was around $17,800.  Still seems a bit much for something so hideous!  I'm sure those bidding are either historic gurus or fashion misfits because they certainly are not fashionistas.  What it really comes down to is that even though it was worn at the royal wedding, does not make it a fashion must-have.  Ugly is ugly as far as I'm concerned.  I don't think something so ugly and unimportant is racking in so much money in bidding.  This hat does not deserve to have over 140,000 fans on Facebook.
