Ronnie Dunn’s First Solo Single “Bleed Red” A Hit In Albany [VIDEO]
It's sounds weird to many long time country music fans to say Ronnie Dunn without saying Kix Brooks in the next breath. Times change, people change and sometimes things that go away lead to new beginnings.
Nothing could be more true than the fact that longtime country music duo and Superstars Brooks and Dunn called it quits after nearly 20 years of shattering all the records that could be shattered in country music. Kix is actually in radio now as host of the Kix Brooks American Country Countdown heard Sunday nights from 6-10pm right here on Country 107.7, WGNA-FM.
Ronnie Dunn is pursuing a solo career with his longtime label Arista Records Nashville. It's not hard to imagine because he was hands down and literally "the voice" of Brooks and Dunn. The first song Ronnie Dunn released is the very powerful hit "Bleed Red", and it is plain and simple a song about forgiveness. His voice really delivers this powerful message like no other in the business. Albany country music fans are loving this song and requesting it on a regular basis, and it is a top 15 testing song with our listeners in our weekly Music Advisory Panels that I conduct here at the WGNA-FM. If you want to take the panel this week, just click here.
