The little bar that could is planning a 3rd Capital Region location.

I do not think there is a better name for a tiny bar than Pint Sized. And now the tiny bar that originated in Saratoga Springs and then opened a location in Albany is growing yet again to a 3rd watering hole in Troy.

The Times Union says owner August Rosa plans on opening the new location at 255-257 River Street sometime in November. The shared space will feature the Pint Sized bar as well as an art and music venue. Though the new Troy Pint Sized will feature 12 craft beers on tap as well as a great bottle and can selection and it will make the existing 2 locations look like half pints: it will double them in square footage.

Not only is Pint Sized the perfect bar concept, but there could not be a better spot than Troy for the concept. it is already home to some of the cooler and quirkier bars in the Capital Region and will be a great addition to the Collar City suds scene.  So this fall, get ready to add a Pint to your next Troy bar crawl.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
