A local burger chain is putting the finishing touches on its third Capital Region restaurant.

When it comes to burger joints we have a wealth of options here in the Capital Region. We have every imaginable chain - Five Guys, Smashburger, and Elevation just to name of few. All of them are worthy of tasty burger praise, but it is always this burger lover's preference to sample some local flavor.

One of Yelp's top-rated Albany burger joints meets the need for that great local flavor! Herbie's Burgers, which currently operates restaurants on Lark Street in Albany and at Galleria 7 in Latham, offers up a great menu of grass-feed burgers and cheeseburgers, as well as vegan burgers. They have a burger for any appetite, including the Herbfather - their 4-pattie edition of complete burger decadence!

Now, the top-rated and popular chain is getting ready to open a third location.

Herbie's Burgers Opening Guilderland Restaurant

According to a Times Union report, Herbie's new Guilderland location will be opening sometime next week. The new eatery will be located at 1827 Western Avenue where Inferno Pizza used to be located. This new location will also be trying something new by opening at 9 am to offer up bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches. The Times Union report says if the breakfast goes well Herbie's will roll it out at their other locations!
