Popular Fried Chicken Joint To Open 4th Capital Region Restaurant

If Nashville hot chicken is your thing, you will be thrilled about the Capital Region's latest restaurant news.

If there is one specific food dish that has absolutely exploded in popularity over the last few years, it is the chicken sandwich.

It has always been a tasty staple. Then the Popeye's vs. Chick-fil-A argument went viral a few years back and so many local restaurants have given the chicken sandwich more focus. There is now a long list of great chicken sandwiches available at local eateries

One of those eateries, Dave's Hot Chicken, is set to open another Capital Region location.

Dave's Hot Chicken To Open 4th Captial Region Restaurant

Dave's Hot Chicken is a national chain that has popped up in the Captial Region over the last few years, serving a menu featuring fried Nashville hot chicken sandwiches & sliders, hot chicken tenders, and more.

They currently operate restaurants on Western Avenue in Albany,  Route 30 in Amsterdam, and Upper Glen Street in Queensbury. Now a 4th location is in the works!

According to the Daily Gazette, a 4th Dave's location is in the works at Mohawk Commons on Balltown Road in Niskayuna. The new eatery will share the building Panera and Spectrum are located in. The Gazette report did not include a tentative opening date as the location awaits "site plan approval."
