On Wednesday morning, police in Rensselaer County asked for the public's help in locating a teenager who ran away on Tuesday. Police say she could be a threat to herself without proper medication.

Police ask for help on Wednesday

According to a Facebook post, the East Greenbush Police Department says that 15-year-old Brianna Hanks ran away from home yesterday, and was last seen at about 5 PM. If you or anyone you know has information about her whereabouts, or have seen her recently, contact the police at 518-479-2525

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Brianna Marie Hanks is 15 years old and believed to be suicidal and may be in need of medical attention.

Brianna was last seen on Kitty Court in the town of East Greenbush, Rensselaer County at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, November 7, and is believed to be on foot.
