Obama Campaign Registry for Your Wedding? [POLL]

The Obama campaign has a new fundraising tactic - and it's actually fairly clever.  The Obama campaign fundraisers are urging couples, graduates, anyone honored at a "gift worthy" event to ask guests to donate to the Obama campaign rather than give them a gift!  There is even a website designed so you can create your own donation page.

We all get mailings every other day to donate to every campaign and we just throw them away for the most part.  Would you be more willing to donate if asked as a wedding gift for someone?

I really don't know how I feel about this.  It is creative, that's for sure, but maybe the dumbest idea ever.
