According to the Times Union, the drier weather we've been having may affect the timing of peak foliage more than the colors. In fact, according to some, the drier weather can sometimes lead to the most spectacular colors!

As far as where we stand locally with conditions, the article says the Capital Region has been 'abnormally dry' while the Hudson Valley is the in the midst of a 'moderate drought.'

So get ready to eat some pumpkin flavored stuff, drink some fall beers and take in some spectacular fall foliage, because it looks like it will be another great season!
