New York To Have Another Free Fishing Day On Veteran’s Day
On November 11th you can not only celebrate our Veterans but also the great outdoors.
Next Wednesday, November 11th is shaping up to be a pretty big day next week.
First and foremost, the 1tth is Veteran's Day! So get ready to honor and thank those special folks in your life who have served in the armed forces. It is also a big day as the CMA Awards will take place that night live from Nashville. So what could make the 11th any better? How about some free fishing?
According to New York Upstate (NYUP), all day long next Wednesday you can fish in any body freshwater without a license. NYUP says all other freshwater fishing regulations will still apply. The New York Department of Environmental Conservation also has details about the free fishing day up on their website.
Now here is one more cool thing pertaining to next Wednesday: as it stands right now the Weather Channel Forecast is calling for a high of 64 next Wednesday. The forecast is also calling for a little rain, but doesn't that make for great fishing weather?
If you get to work now, you could put together the perfect day for the Veteran in your life. Go out and buy them some new fishing gear, hit your favorite fishing hole and then wrap your day watching the CMA Awards. Now that is not a bad little Wednesday!
