As more and more people continue to weigh in on their thoughts about players "taking a knee" during the national anthem on various social media platforms, some New York restaurants have already told their customers they won't be showing NFL games.  Are you a local bar/restaurant owner that plans on supporting President Trump's request to boycott the NFL?

President Trump sent out tweets over the weekend urging fans to boycott the NFL after what he feels is blatant disrespect to our flag and country by NFL players during the National Anthem.  According to CNYCentral.com, two restaurants in the western part of New York, have shown their growing distaste for a very polarizing NFL, and according to statements they've made on social media, they've had enough.

Cooper's Landing, which describes itself as a pub in Cicero, posted on its Facebook page on Monday that it also will not air NFL games: "So after this past weekend with the NFL Cooper's will be joining Borio's and NOT airing the NFL games. Enough is enough. It's time for these million dollar snowflakes to stop disrespecting the Men-Women -Dogs that signed a blank check for them to act like this. Hopefully things will change. WE will be airing Baseball-Hockey-Mud-Water & Snow sports with Specials .United We Stand."

Borio's Restaurant, which sits along Oneida Lake in Cicero, posted a note saying it would not show the games, adding "if and when this show of disrespect ends we will be happy to show this product on (sic) our restaurant again."
