A new name has been added to the equation of “Two and a Half Men” minus Charlie Sheen.  What does it equal? Well, I'm glad you asked.  The answer is: Hugh Grant.  A person close to the "Two and a Half Men" situation stated yesterday that Grant was in negotiations to join the TV sitcom.  His publicist has not returned any calls for comment, however; Deadline Hollywood's website was first to report the possibility.  The website found out and reported that Grant flew to meet with Warner Bros.  He had two meetings with them.  However, Deadline Hollywood now reports that Grant backed out of the deal unexpectedly.

I must say I am a huge, huge Hugh Grant fan.  (Say that ten times fast!)  Not only is he one of the sexiest men alive, but he is funny, quirky and did I mention hot!  How you could not love a British actor with good teeth!  If he joined the cast, you'd have my attention.  I would certainly start watching the show even though I've only ever caught bits and pieces of the show.

Still a fishy situation and it will be interesting to see what is the final outcome.  Deadline Hollywood also reports that sources close to Chuck Lorre, say Lorre wants to continue the show, but only if he finds the right, replacement actor.  It was also stated, that Lorre wants Sheen's replacement to be "somebody Chuck can work with," according to the same sources.

In an unrelated, sort of related news, today is Sheen's brother Emilio Estevez's birthday.  He is turning 49-years old today.  Must be nice to be the normal one in the family, right?  Go Mighty Ducks!
