A new attraction in Lake George has gotten the okay from the town. It is part of an old amusement park that will now offer more to families and will open this spring. Magic Forest has been part of many Capital Region family's memories since the 1960s and now it is expanding thanks to new owners. According to the Times Union, the new owner of Magic Forest, Ruben Ellsworth, will add Dino-Roar Valley to the Magic Forest.

Dino Roar Valley will be an attraction for families to walk through with animatronic dinosaurs. It will also feature special events space for birthday parties and a food and beverage area.

The park will be open May through October and tickets will go on sale in March. Tickets will be $20 for Magic Forest. Dino-Roar Valley will be $25. If you want access to both parks admission will be $35 per person.

The owners are hoping to attract children of all ages and families along with educational field trips.
