New Arcade-Themed Restaurant and Bar? Take Two Cafe Doubles in Schenectady!
If you are vegan you may already know of Take Two Cafe in Schenectady. Their mission is to "keep the Capital Region well fed and happy and to give back to our community whenever we can.". Now Take Two looks like it is multiplying.
According to the Albany Business Review, Take Two Cafe will be opening a sister location in Schenectady in the Spring of 2022! Yes, they will be offering plant-based food that vegans and non-vegans alike will find delicious, This new location will also offer fun and games, literally.

How about an elevated pub menu that supports vegans and allows non-vegans to see how great vegan food can taste! Now add in a bar with cocktails and mocktails, plus a bunch of old school arcade games and you have the new venture planned for 144 Clinton Street in downtown Schenectady!
Albany Business Review indicates that the home for the new business is a 100-year-old building one block away from Proctors Theatre. The ground floor is for the Take Two arcade with a dozen apartments above. Similar, on a smaller scale, to the Frog Alley location on State Street in Schenectady.
With my son's recent decision to be vegan, it can be challenging to find a place we both enjoy. I already like the food at Take Two Cafe so the addition of arcade games and friendly competition sounds like a winner to us.
