Meet NASCAR & NFL Legends In Albany Saturday For Special Cause

Several on NASCAR's biggest names will ride into Albany Saturday on the Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America and you can meet them!

The Kyle Petty Charity Ride, which is run by NASCAR legend Kyle Petty, will be rolling into the Albany Marriott on Wolf Road in Albany around 5:10 on Saturday, according to Discover Albany. This annual charity ride raises money for the Victory Junction '..a camp dedicated to providing life-changing camping experiences for children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses' according to ride organizers. The ride schedule says they will be arriving from Portland, Maine and will depart for Pennsylvania on Sunday.

So, from 4:30 - 6:30pm at the Marriott there will be a 'Family Fun For All' to welcome the riders to Albany with entertainment for the kids. This will also be your chance to meet the legends on the ride, including Kyle and Richard Petty, Donnie Allison and more. NFL legend & NY Giant and Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker will also be taking part, according to Discover Albany.

When it comes to NASCAR, it does not get any better than meeting the King, Richard Petty!! This man won 7 championships and a gazillion races, and this is a great opportunity to meet him while supporting a great cause!
