We know you are aching to see some live Country music, and this summer you will have the opportunity to check out some great local bands.

Chances are, the last time you got to see some Live Country Music, in person, was way back on March 6th when Kane Brown came to the Times Union Center. That is almost 100 days ago which is WAY to long of a stretch between shows.

Now we may not be getting the big shows at SPAC, but it does look like you will have the opportunity to see some of our great local bands as things start to open up and we get more creative when if comes to having shows in a social distancing world. According to a post on the Rensselaer Country Tourism Facebook page, the Schaghticoke Summer's Eve Concerts will be happening and they have released the summer schedule which includes the following Country nights:

  • July 23rd: Whiskey Highway
  • July 30th: Skeeter Creek
  • August 18th: Back 40 Band

We are super lucky to have some great local Country bands here in the Capital Region, and spending some time at any of these shows will be sure to satisfy your craving for a great show. Hopefully, you won't have to wait so long to see another one.

The Tourism page added that 'proper precautions' will be taken at all of these events to keep everyone attending safe. The series will feature 9 other shows which you can see here.
