Lanco's "Rival" video will lift you up if you've ever been knocked down.

"Never back down, never gonna quit / Other side of the tracks, home town kid / I'm the one that you heard about / Outside of the in crowd / Heart on my sleeve and I'm beating my chest / Got a lotta enemies but I never lose rest / Every penny that I get, I earn / One day y'all gonna learn," they sing in a video that brings together a diverse group of underdogs.

The band leads the crowd to a wall, where their insecurities, judgments from others and cruel words they've been tied to are inscribed on the wall, and together, they literally break it down.

The "Rival" video cuts back to shots of the band performing in an alleyway. "Rival" is the first release from their upcoming sophomore album. The video was shot in Nashville and directed by Peter Zavadil.

“We really wanted to capitalize on the true message behind the song that was built from different times in our lives and the stories from fans who have felt beat-down and lost, but ultimately find hope and redemption,” explains lead singer Brandon Lancaster in a press release. "Every caption on that wall was an experience that person had to overcome, and when it was knocked down you could feel the genuine joy from everyone on the set. It was a powerful moment I’ll never forget."

This spring and summer, Lanco are supporting Luke Combs on his Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour. Morgan Wallen, Cadillac Three, Jameson Rogers and Ray Fulcher will also support Combs on select dates.
