Lady Antebellum Offers Acoustic Performance of ‘Downtown’ in New Webisode Wednesday Clip
Are you totally digging Lady Antebellum's current hit, 'Downtown?' If so, you'll love the acoustic version the trio offered up during a recent Webisode Wednesday.
Lady A gives fans a backstage acoustic jam session of their current single, complete with guitars, tambourines... and coffee pots? The Grammy Award-winning trio and their band used a bit of ingenuity with the materials found in their dressing room to offer a stellar performance of the funky track.
As always, a glowing Hillary Scott looks gorgeous in clip. The mother-to-be remained seated throughout the performance, but bandmate Charles Kelley filled the room with enough energy for the both of them.
“We wanted something fun, that we knew we could perform every night and have a blast doing it," Scott says of Lady A's new musical direction. "It’s a little bit of a left turn for us. I love that I get to be a little sassy."
'Downtown' is the first single from 'Golden,' the trio's highly-anticipated fourth studio album. The project is expected to be delivered to store shelves and digital retailers on May 7.
