Join Jess for a Grown-Up Easter Egg Hunt in Schenectady
Who says because you're not a kid anymore, that you can't take part in an Easter egg hunt? I don't, so come sign-up and hunt with me!
How come kids get all the fun? If you haven't taken part in the Grown-Up Easter Egg Hunt before, this year, they don't have to!
On April 27th, you can join Jess from WGNA for an Easter egg hunt just for the grown-ups! Tickets are only $20 and you have to check out their Facebook page to see all of the prizes you can find in your eggs.
I had the honor to host this event last year which went to Becky Daniel's Woman of the Year campaign for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This year, Becky isn't running so she picked a charity even closer to her heart. This year, proceeds from the egg hunt will be going to the Melissa Daniels Memorial Scholarship, given to a student at Schenectady High School who plans to pursue a degree in Social Work.
They have donations from all over the Capital Region to fill those eggs so this isn't your normal egg hunt. Though there will be chocolate, you'll be leaving with a lot more than candy bars. Join us at Mabee Farm Historic Site in Schenectady on April 27th and celebrate Easter yourself, the Easter Bunny already did his job!
