Jennifer Aniston certainly has a long ways to go before catching up with Angelina Jolie, as far as the tattoo count goes.  Aniston got her first tattoo recently.  She was seen walking the streets of New York City, Friday, wearing a pair of sandals that revealed the ink.  According to AccessHollywood.com, she was taping for "Inside the Actors Studio," in the city Thursday.  In an interview, she appeared emotional while speaking about her deceased dog.

Aniston lost her Welsh corgi/terrier mix dog back in May.  The tattoo reads the dog's name, Norman, on the inside of her right foot's instep.  The dog was 15-years old, a rep told People magazine.

I personally do not have any tattoos.  One of my reasons is because I've never had anything I've felt so strongly about that I want to advertise on my body.  However, like Aniston, I know many people get a tattoo because they want to show rememberance of something/ someone or in other cases, they believe in a cause or they want to express themselves.

Then there are the people that get some sort of insigna because it's a fad at that particular time and after a few years, end up hating their tattoo.  If you felt that strongly enough to have someone push a giant needle 1,000 times into your skin, don't you think you should have thought this through a little bit further?

Do you have any tattoos?  If so, what was your reasoning for getting that particular tattoo?
