Are Cashman and Boone safe?

Rodger Wyland and I had to ask ESPNs Tim Kurkjian about the Yankees after their lifeless ALDS elimination. Kurkjian was on the call for ESPN Radio, so he had a front row seat for all the action as the Yankees were swept by their division rival the Tampa Bay Rays.

Personally I agree with Tim saying that Boone and Cashman will be back. The main reasons I'd be against firing Boone right now is because of the imminent lockout due to the MLB and MLBPA negotiations. You don't want to bring on a brand new manager in a season that most likely won't start on time. There just simply isn't enough time to get to know your players and create a winning atmosphere. Boone also only has one more year on his contract anyway, might as well ride it out and see if this team can stay healthy and do better next year.
