New York State is sending out a reminder email to thousands who own snowmobiles in New York State as the expiration date is approaching.
According to the law, in New York, snowmobile registrations expire on August 31st annually.

There is a fee of $135 and is discounted to $65 if you are part of a club.
It may be too early for some to think snow. This week we are seeing some warm, July weather! I have some friends who won't even consider registering their sleds until at least December and some who wait for a good snowfall. Either way, if you plan to ride make sure you have it done before you hit the trails.
