The Buffalo Bills sit second in the AFC East, after their 25-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London on Sunday.

The Miami Dolphins beat the New York Giants to improve to 4-1 and reclaim the top spot in the division. The Giants just so happens to be who the Bills next play. That game will be in primetime, as the Bills host the Giants at Highmark Stadium for Sunday Night Football.

The Bills defense has a multitude of injuries now. Cornerback Tre'Davious White will miss the rest of the season with a torn Achilles, but the Bills also suffered a devastating blow with the loss of linebacker Matt Milano.

Ian Rapoport of The NFL Network reported that Milano has suffered a leg fracture and the team fears he also has a torn ACL, which would require season-ending surgery. The Bills also lost defensive tackle DaQuan Jones with a pectoral injury, while Greg Rousseau also missed the game in London with a foot injury.

That decimated defense is still playing at a high level and might play a familiar face on Sunday night...at least to Bills fans.

Former Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor could very well start vs. his old team on Sunday. That's because starter Daniel Jones suffered a neck contusion against the Dolphins yesterday, and according to The NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, it's iffy for him to play this week. An MRI on Monday will reveal more about how much time he could miss.

Taylor played for the Bills from 2015-2017. He was first given a starting quarterback opportunity in Buffalo under Rex Ryan and the first year of Sean McDermott's tenure. Taylor is the QB for the Bills team who ended the 17-year playoff drought. He's still loved by Bills fans and should be a warm reaction on Sunday if he should start.

Former Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is now the head coach of the Giants. The West Seneca native is off to a rough start this season in New York, after a surprising playoff season in 2022.
