It’s Almost Time For Jumpin’ Jacks To Open

It’s a sign that spring is in the air – Jumpin’ Jack's in Scotia is almost ready to open for the season. 

In a story from our friends at YNN and Jumpin’ Jack’s Face Book page, they’ll be opening on Thursday, March 24. They will also have some new equipment and interior. There was a lot of flood damage from Tropical Storm Irene, last August.

They’ve had flood insurance for about 30 years, and this is only the second time that they had to use it. I love to hear about Jumpin’ Jack's opening up, and I'm very glad they've recovered from the storm. It’s one of those local traditions for most of us. I hear some Jumpin’ Jack's burgers calling me now. What’s your favorite on the menu?
