I told you the story about Glenville Police helping to deliver a baby in a car, on Friday afternoon, and now there’s another baby delivered with the Glenville Police assisting.

What makes these stories so unique is that neither baby was delivered at the hospital and within a 24 hour period. This time it was a home delivery. In the story from News 10 ABC, another 911 call went out, and this call was handled by JoAnne McPhail, a Glenville Police Dispatcher.

At 3:25 a.m. this morning, January 18, Louis Cruz made the call telling McPhail that Megan, his wife, was was about to deliver their baby. With the assistance of McPhail, giving Cruz direction on handling the delivery. A little girl names Abigail came into the world at 3:29 a.m.

Mom and baby then went to the hospital. Both of them are in great condition.

Thanks to Robert Hunt, one of our GNA Facebook friends who let me know about baby number 2.
