Help Saratoga National in Wreaths Across America Retrieval Day
Every year, usually around the second Saturday in December, Wreaths Across America asks for your help to lay wreaths. Now, they need your help again.
One of the best events of the year in my opinion is Wreaths Across America. It's a chance to give back to those who gave everything for us. Each year, you sign up to be a wreath-layer. You grab a bunch of wreaths, find graves of soldiers, say their name and rank and lay a wreath to celebrate them on Christmas.
If you're not familiar with Saratoga National Cemetery, it's where veterans of all branches are laid to rest whether they've passed during battle or passed afterward.
Wreaths Across America is asking for your help again to help pick up the wreaths that were left in December. There is a Facebook group going around that has all of the information and availability. The event is March 7th at 8:00am and will take place in any weather. They do ask that you RSVP to the event via the Facebook group so they have an idea of how many people will be attending. Hopefully, I'll see you there.
