Dyngus Day, the annual Polish-American, post-Lenten bash, attracts tens of thousands to Buffalo, New York to celebrate spring, show Polish pride, flirt with pussy willows and listen to the best polka bands in the nation!  Dyngus Day always falls on the Monday after Easter.

I'm originally from Western New York, so I'm a little homesick today for Dyngus Day!  I love a pierogi!  And people in Buffalo know how to get a party going!

Remember a couple of years ago when Anderson Cooper giggled hysterically over Dyngus Day on his show?  The people of Buffalo were so mad that Anderson had to invite them on his show to apologize!  Don't mess with Dyngus Day!

Teresa called this morning and told us about a local Dyngus Day celebration at the Rotterdam Elks!  Click here for more info!
