Gunpoint Robbery in Schenectady County, Police Need Your Help

This hits kinda close to home because it's right down the road from our radio station studios. On Monday night (8/1) around 9:50pm, a man entered the Cumberland Farms on Highbridge Road in Rotterdam with a gun.

Police say he pointed the black handgun at the clerk and demanded cash. The clerk handed over an unknown amount of money and the guy took off.

Not much description was given, other than he was a white male wearing a North Face hoodie and grey sweatpants.

In addition to Rotterdam Police, the Schenectady County Sheriff's K9 unit was called in to help with the investigation. So far, no suspects have been taken into custody.
