Get Spooky In Saratoga on Haunted Ghostly Trolley Tours
Looking for a spooky way to celebrate Halloween this year? There is a cool way to do just that in Saratoga Springs during this haunting season.
Every Thursday night in October 2024, you can hop on the "Ghosts of Saratoga" Trolley Tour and dive into the eerie history of Saratoga Springs!
This 90-minute guided tour not only takes you through the town's rich history but also gives you access to the famously haunted Canfield Casino. Led by experienced guides, the tour is based on research from renowned ghost hunter David Pitkin, known for his books like Haunted Saratoga County and Ghosts of the Northeast. Pitkin, who passed away in 2013, uncovered countless ghost sightings around the county, and his work continues to fascinate today.
The tours, organized by the Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center in collaboration with the Saratoga Springs History Museum, will run on October 3, 10, 17, and 31 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 and must be reserved in advance. You can snag your spot by calling 518-587-3241 during business hours (Tuesday-Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
This tour is recommended for adults due to its haunting nature. The trolley departs from the Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center at 297 Broadway and wraps up at Canfield Casino.
