George Strait Breaks Record at His Last Show Ever

GEORGE STRAIT'S final stop on his Cowboy Rides Away tour on Saturday at AT & T Stadium in Arlington, Texas drew 104,793 screaming fans!

That broke the indoor concert attendance record of 87,500 set in 1981by THE ROLLING STONES at the Superdome in New Orleans!

It also may have broken a law.    Capacity at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas is 100,000. Yikes!  No one seemed to be that worried about it, though!

Some of the guest performers included Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney and Faith Hill.

George closed the show by saying, quote, "This has been such a special evening for me.  Thank you for all the years of support."

Goodbye George!  We'll surely miss you!
