General Electric’s New Local Fuel Cell Pilot

General Electric is adding to the local business community.

In Malta, at the Saratoga + Energy Park is a new G.E. Fuel Cells unit pilot manufacturing site. A G.E. gas turbine will be working with the production facility to manufacture fuel cells. The fuel cells will be using natural gas. The process will create small power plants.

In the article from the Times Union, those power plants will be used to produce electricity, and will be available for use by utility companies and businesses.
