The kids are off this week, which means tomorrow would be a great day to get out for the Department of Environmental Conservation's family fishing festival.

The annual festival will take place at Six Mile Waterworks in the Pine Bush from 9:30a, - 2pm Tuesday, according to the TImes Union. The fest will kick off with the stocking Rensselaer Lake with 1,000 rainbow trout, and will be followed by fishing clinics. If you do not have a license, have no fear - one is not necessary to fish at this event. The event is part of the Department of Environmental Conservation annual restocking efforts, which also kick off tomorrow, according to the TImes Union.

The forecast is looking really nice for Tuesday as well according to the Weather Channel. Outside of the chance of an evening thunderstorm, we should see Partly Cloudy skies with a high of 74 in Albany. Sounds like a great day to get the kids out for some fishing!
