Fourth Graders Get In Parks FREE The Summer With their ‘Every Kid In A Park Pass’
Attention all current fourth graders and those students going into fourth grade. You've earned a free pass to all federal parks, lands, and waters.
What a great program offered for the summer! All students entering or leaving 4th grade can get the pass allowing them and their family and friends FREE admission to parks! Fourth grade is all about American History and what better way to celebrate what you have learned or are about to learn with a free pass to the parks and historic sites!
Good news for the capital region too, New York State Parks are honoring this pass as well! According to the NYS Parks website, most New York State parks charge a vehicle use fee of between $6 and $10 dollars for day use and historic sites generally charge an admission fee of between $1 and $6. That’s a good savings for any family!
Locally, you can visit the Martin Van Buren National Historic Site in Kinderhook, NY or take a day trip to the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt in Hyde Park, NY.
You can get all the details on how to get your pass by visiting Every Kid In A Park. Check out NYS Parks for parks near you!
Have fun this summer exploring….for FREE!
