In 2006, Eric Church made his way up the charts with his first single 'How 'Bout You'.  Followed by 'Love Your Love The Most' and 'Guys Like Me', he established himself as a solid hit-maker with a loyal following.

Now, in 2012, he finds himself headlining his own shows with a stop at WGNA's Countryfest on Saturday, July 7th at the Times Union Center.  Eric Church's recent hits 'Drink In My Hand', 'Homeboy', and 'Springsteen', make his show a hot ticket for any country music fan. The music industry knew that the North Carolina native was on to the next level of his career when his album Chief debuted at No. 1 on both the Country and Pop charts in July 2011.

Josh Thompson, Thompson Square, and Joe Nichols will open the show inside the Times Union Center on Saturday, July 7.  Countryfest starts with a free outdoor street party with Dustin Lynch and more acts to be announced starting at Noon on Pearl Street in downtown Albany.
