Ellms Family Farm To Hold ‘Cider Donut Drive-Thru’ This Weekend

Ellms is taking one of our favorite fall activities and creating a new social distancing experience.

In times like these, ya gotta stay creative to stay entertained, and Ellms Family Farm in Ballston Spa took that inspiration to heart to create the 'Cider Donut Drive-Thru.'

The premise is simple, but it is genius: this Friday - Sunday you can visit Ellms for some cider donuts at heir drive-thru donut stand. Then, if you wish, you can drive thru the farm's Christmas tree fields, pumpkin patches and more. In the spirit of social distancing and keeping the farm from getting overcrowded, Ellms is taking appointments now. You can pre-order up 1, 2 or 3 dozen donuts to pick up and then eat as you tour the grounds in your vehicle. They have other protocols and steps set up to keep everyone at a safe social distance during your trip, which you can see here.

Maybe previewing that next trip to get a Christmas tree this winter or just getting the kids out for a nice scenic drive will be the cabin fever reliever you and your family need during New York Pause. And let's be honest, any excuse to eat cider donuts is a good one!
