Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing Site Coming To Colonie

Another drive-thru coronavirus testing site will open later this week.

According to a Times Union report, the new site will be at the Rite Aid located at 1863 Central Avenue in Colonie and is set to open Wednesday. The site will be open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.Testing will be by appointment only and times can be scheduled at the Rite Aid website. The Times Union report also added that even though the number of testing locations now open has increased, officials are not seeing a big increase in positive test results. Which, is hopefully a good sign for all of us in the Capital Region!

I gotta say I feel like with each passing day and week, we are starting to see more stories reporting the slow of the virus and new cases. While we are by no means out of the woods, this makes me hopeful we can get back to being out and about and interacting with our friends and family soon.

Now if I can just shake all the weight I have been gaining in quarantine! That would also be wonderful news.
