Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert Tour – Second Time Around

We're excited that Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert are making a stop in Albany, New York on March 2, 2013 for the Locked and Reloaded Tour.  After thinking about it, I realized that Bentley and Lambert have done this before on the Locked and Loaded Tour in 2006.

On the original tour Miranda Lambert opened for Dierks Bentley, but now as her star has risen much higher, Bentley will open for Lambert. However, they will both close the show with some fun duets. Apparently the two friends came up with the idea to tour again after a hang out in Las Vegas.

Many fans wonder why Miranda Lambert isn't touring with her husband Blake Shelton. Based on all the information we have seen, Shelton is unable to commit to a full tour schedule because of his role on 'The Voice' television show. Bentley is certainly a great tour-mate replacement.
