Dierks Bentley is being accused of ripping of his song, "Home."  Jason Isbell, a singer-songwriter, tweeted last week, “Dierks’ has officially ripped off my song ‘In A Razor Town.’  Isbell went on to directly accuse Dierks of stealing the song right to Dierks’ Twitter page in which Dierks wrote back, “is that what you ‘bet’ happened? That’s how you imagine it? #fantasyworld #getoveryourself.”

Yesterday, we were wondering who was in attendance at Hillary Scott’s wedding here in upstate New York.  Well, according to OK!, a rep for the trio says neither Charles Kelley nor Dave Haywood were there.  However, Christian contemporary singer Steven Curtis Chapman led them in their first dance.

Carrie Underwood is going to be performing at The Nordstrom Symphony Fashion Show on Tuesday, February 28th.  All proceeds from the show assist the Symphony in reaching numerous people through free community concerts.  The show features an exclusive presentation of Oscar de la Renta’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection. 

Miranda Lambertis giving up shrimp!  The singer apparently suffered from some food poisoning Sunday.  She tweeted a photo of a bottle of Pedialyte and wrote, “Food poisoning….take this.  That was a near death experience.  No more shrimp for me.”

2011 finished off as a good year for the country music, according to the Neilsen Soundscan.  Overall sales were up 6.9 percent.  Country fans bought 27 percent more digital albums in 2011 than they did in 2010.  Jason Aldean’s My Kinda Party was the fifth best-selling project of 2011 in any genre of music while Lady Antebellum’s Own the Night came in at No. 10.  Garth Brooks remains the #1 selling artist with more than 68.5 million albums sold – five million ahead of the Beatles at #2.
