“Country Strong” Star/Singer Related To Congresswoman

"Country Strong", which recently opened in theaters has a tie to Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

Gwyneth Paltrow, who stars in the movie, is a cousin of the congresswoman. According to Entertainment tonight, even though the have never met, Gwyneth sent her thoughts and prayers to the congresswoman and all of the victims of the Arizona shootings.

Congresswoman Giffords remains in critical condition.
