As Amsterdam and surrounding communities deal with the aftermath of Saturday's tragic limousine crash, two vigils have been planned for these communities to come together.

According to a News 10 report, two vigils have been planned for these communities to gather and remember those we lost in the Schoharie limousine crash.

The first will be held tonight at the Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook at 7pm, with candles being handed out at 6:30. The second will take place at the scene of the crash, The Apple Barrel Country Store, at 6pm Tuesday, At the Tuesday night vigil you can donate to support local volunteer first responders.

Maybe like me and everyone else in the Capital Region you are in disbelief and heartbroken for the families and friends of Thursday's crash victims. In times like these, it is just impossible to make sense of what happened. But, maybe you can find some level of comfort by joining together with your neighbors to remember those lost and pray for them and their families.
