Have you ever wanted to run a 5K but without the whole running and training part? And you want it to be more fun than just running down a street?

Color Me Rad is a great opportunity for runners of all different levels. You can run it and try to beat your personal record, you can walk it and just enjoy the event, or somewhere in between. Color Me Rad had been here quite a few years in a row, the most recent I remember being in Saratoga State Park. There are a lot of similar events like Color Run 5K and school fundraisers but as far as I knew them, Color Me Rad was the first.

The way it works is that you start out dressed in all white (you are allowed to wear any color but white is more fun). You get a few bags of color with the option to buy more. Throughout the run, people may throw color on you, there are different points where there's a mass color throw, but in the end, the goal is to finish a 5K in whatever time with as many colors on you as you can get.

If you're interested in running the Color Me Rad 5k, it's going to be at Ellms Family Farm in Ballston Spa on September 14th.
