Capital Region’s 13th Chipotle Opens Today in Saratoga County

A brand new Chipotle is opening today (March 3rd) right off Exit 12 of the Northway.

If you know the area, it is next to Starbucks and tucked behind the plaza with Five Guys, Jersey Mike’s, and AT&T. It is a busy stretch, but let’s be honest, it is still an easier in and out than battling traffic in Clifton Park. A few roundabouts and you are there.

What is A Chipotlane?

Even better, this location comes with a Chipotlane, which means you can order on the app and drive-thru to pick it up on the way home from work or practice. Hours will be 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, so your lunch and dinner plans are pretty much covered.

Incentives For College Students

Local college students should take note. The new Malta spot is promoting Chipotle U Rewards. Students who sign up get 1,000 points just for enrolling and can earn 20 percent more points on every purchase. That adds up quickly if Chipotle is already in your regular rotation.

Work At This Chipotle Location

The restaurant is also hiring and looking to fill about 30 positions. They are offering competitive benefits, including the chance to earn a crew bonus equal to an extra month of pay, access to a debt-free college program, and mental health support for employees and their families. Applications are available online through Chipotle’s website.

With this addition, there are now thirteen Chipotle locations across the Capital Region, including Albany, Saratoga, Schenectady, Clifton Park, Latham, Queensbury, Rensselaer, Glenmont, and Amsterdam. Malta is now officially on the burrito map.
