A New York State company known for its baseball caps has just landed a deal with the USA Olympic and Paralympic teams. It's the first time Team USA has partnered with a brand focused on headwear.

Buffalo is about to be in the world spotlight because New Era Cap signed a multi-year deal with the USA Olympic and Paralympic teams. This is a big deal. It's the first time Team USA has partnered with a brand that's all about headwear. New Era, based in Buffalo, will be the exclusive supplier of hats for athletes at the Paris 2024, Milan 2026, and Los Angeles 2028 games according to WGRZ.com.

New Era also revealed its six brand ambassadors for the 2024 Paris Olympics:

Ilona Maher (Rugby) – Burlington, Vermont
Gerek Meinhardt (Fencing) – San Francisco, California/Lexington, Kentucky
Fred Richard (Gymnastics) – Stoughton, Massachusetts/University of Michigan
Jayson Tatum (Basketball) – St. Louis, Missouri/Boston Celtics
