Capital Region’s 2X National Mullet Champ ‘Appears’ On Jeopardy!
The Capital Region's own, Scott Salvadore was crowned the National Mullet Champion in 2022 and 2023. The Stillwater, NY resident has achieved more fame and you could say he's been thrust in the spotlight again "appearing" on last night's episode of Jeopardy!
We all get excited when one of our towns or cities in the Capital Region are mentioned on Jeopardy but this one hit a bit differently. In last night's show on News 10 ABC, the category was "Fun and Games". When the contestant asked for the $400 clue, here's how it went:
The question (answer) was "What is a mullet?" and the contestant cashed in for $400. Reading comments on Scott Salvadore's Facebook page, some thought the value of the clue was too low. They said that Scott was worth at least $1000. We agree.
Scott Salvadore was crowned the first ever back-to-back Mane Event National Mullet Champion. He won in 2022 and 2023. Scott's fans came through with a significant part of the voting being charitable donations. They voted for Scott and the donations benefitted Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors.
The Capital Region and all of New York State are proud of Scott Salvadore who represents our region in a great light. Scott owns Salvadore Firewood Co. and a hardscape contractor business Salvadore Services LLC in Stillwater.
We are all rooting for him to win it all again in 2024!
