
Capital Region Under Tornado Watch
With powerful storms heading into the area this afternoon, the National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for the Capital Region until 8pm.
So what does a Tornado Watch mean? The National Weather Service says the area could see a few tornadoes and there will be ' a moderate risk for damaging winds and large hail.' You can see the National Weather Service's warning map below:
Hopefully will not come near any tornadoes, but chances are you will encounter severe winds and possibly tennis size hail. So be safe!!
