Capital Region High Schoolers to Make History and Perform at Trump Inauguration

A local marching band has been selected to perform at three Inaugural Eve events in Maryland and Washington, D.C.!  They're about to become a part of history!

According to CBS 6, DiAnne Mott is the high school band director at Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville High School. She says it's such an honor to perform at Fort McHenry, the Jefferson Memorial and at a concert at the National Cathedral.

Mrs. Mott applied last summer for the band to have an opportunity to perform at the events.

After their performances the band members will take a tour of the nation’s Capital.
