Brett Eldredge wins the award for best dog dad! The country singer threw an adorable first birthday party for his precious pup, Edgar, on Thursday (May 11).

Eldredge shared a video of the spirited celebration in which he's surrounded by close friends, giving Edgar a singalong and even some specially-made dog treats.

"Everyone sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to @edgarboogie with us!!! He turns 1 today!" the singer writes alongside the video, which shows him strumming his guitar as he and his companions sing "Happy Birthday" to little Edgar. Finally, Edgar gets to eat his special treat before taking off out of the room.

The star went all out for his dog's party, supplying treats (human and dog) and even some tasty-looking cupcakes, along with several birthday balloons. The proud dog owner loves showing affection for Edgar, sharing videos of the two slow dancing or hilariously carrying Edgar around in a baby carrier.

The "Something I'm Good At" singer dropped major music news this week, debuting the cover art and track listing for his 2017 self-titled album, set for release on Aug. 4. He's been performing new songs off the project all across the nation on Luke Bryan's 2017 Huntin,' Fishin,' and Lovin' Every Day Tour including "Superhero," "Take Me the Long Way Around" and "Cast Away."

"Maybe it takes a little bit of guts to put out a self-titled album — but if it’s 100% honestly you, then that should come across through the music. That’s my name and I hope my fans love me for me," Eldredge says. "Hopefully they feel the connection of these songs and they help them through their everyday lives. Because that’s why I make this music.”

Eldredge will be on Bryan's tour through October.
