I feel sorry for whoever this happened to, don't get me wrong. But then again, I have some questions about this incident near Wolf Road in Albany.

According to the Times Union.com a person on a bicycle riding on Central Avenue near Wolf Road was hit by a car. He was near the Northway's southbound ramp!

He had scrapes and other injuries, but nothing life threatening, thankfully. Hey, I feel bad. I obviously don't want anyone to get hurt.  It's no laughing matter.

OK, I think you know what I'm going to say here. I don't mean to be "that guy" but whenever I see someone hitchhiking in that area or maybe-ahhhh-riding a bike, I shake my head. No, I'm not going to call them names or anything like that. I do this out of concern.

Rant time. Why would you possibly be in anything other than a car in that general area? It has to be one of the busiest traffic spots in the Capital Region!

Many of you might say "you asked for it." I'm not going to go there. It's not my place to judge what you do, but I'm just saying—if it were ME, you wouldn't see me caught dead doing what he did, and I mean that literally.

Does it get you mad when you see people doing things like that or is it just me?  Would love to know.

But I will repeat one last time—I'm sorry to hear that he got hurt and wish him a speedy recovery. (I'm shaking my head here as I write)
