Beloved Schenectady Tavern Closing Its Doors After 48 Years In Business

One of those beloved spots in Schenectady has announced that after 48 years the time has come to dim the lights and clean up the bar one last time.
Slick's Restaurant and Tavern Announces They Will Close
For fans of Slick's, it was certainly a sad day when they saw that owners Michael and Barbara Naumoff announced on their Facebook page that they are "ready to retire" and that Friday, September 30th will be their last day of operation. In the post, they not only thanked their loyal customers over the years for all the memories but also invited them down for one last get-together over the coming weeks before they close.
