Another New Location For Cookie Factory

If you’re in the Halfmoon / Clifton Park area, there’s a new place in town to get some delicious baked goods and sweet treats.

The Cookie Factory has added a brand new location at 1705 Route 9 in Halfmoon. The Halfmoon location is an addition to the two other Albany area locations that they have. The main location is in Troy at 520 Congress Street, and the other location is in Albany at 469 Albany Shaker Road. This expands their business into three counties - Rensselaer County, Albany County, and now Saratoga County.

In the front of the Halfmoon store, there’s a cafe dining area which offers you a place where you can sit down, meet friends and enjoy a cup of coffee and other beverages and of course some baked goodies.

According to the article in The Troy Record, the owner and co-founder of The Cookie Factory, Chris Alberino mentioned that the Halfmoon location was chosen because it “seemed like there was a need for a full line bakery”. That was partially because of many new businesses that have been opening up in that area, including Global Foundries.

Yes, they have cookies. But they also have a pretty big selection of pastries, cakes, pies and more.
