Another Clifton Park Bakery Has A Vehicle Crash Through Facade

Ealier today another Clifton Park bakery has been smashed into by a vehicle.

Earlier today a pick-up truck crashed into J & S Watkins Homebaked Desserts, located in a strip mall next door to Lowe's, on Route 9. The Clifton Park Fire Department posted photos of the incident on their Facebook page earlier today which you can see below.

News 10 is reporting this afternoon the driver was pronounced dead after being transported to Ellis Hospital. The CP Fire Department did say in their post that "...crew extricated the victim and EMS continued to work the patient and transport him."

This is the 3rd incident over the at few months involving a vehicle slamming into a Clifton Park bakery. A little further north on Route 9 Dolce and Biscotti was the first bakery to encounter a vehicle, not once but twice: the first incident took place in February when a car drove right through their front window. Then about one month later another vehicle slammed into the building support structure, Thankfully no one was injured in either incident at Dolce & Biscotti.
